Human Presence Implied

Human Presence Implication is when you know someone has been somewhere without anyone actually being there, for example if there were a cut down tree and no one was there, you know someone has been there for the fact that the tree had been cut down.

Andy Goldsworthy.
Andy Goldsworthy’s Father was a professor of applied mathematics, being surrounded by such a logical home life could have inspired him and his work; Goldsworthy’s work is so intricate and done with such precision that he makes his work seem so natural, and it flows with the land so well, with it also sticking out like a sore thumb. The materials used in Andy Goldsworthy's art often include brightly coloured flowers, icicles, leaves, mud, pinecones, snow, stone, twigs, and thorns. His work is made from the most natural of resources; he forms them into intricate shapes that mould to their surroundings so perfectly. I love all of his work as he makes his sculptures so unnaturally natural.

this is some of his work...

Richard Long.
Richard Long is very similar to Andy Goldsworthy in the way he utilises natural materials to create amazing sculptures. He is not only a sculptor and photography, but he is a fantastic painter and illustrator. He once walked back and forth in a grassy field to create a path, he then photographed it, and that image then became a milestone in contemporary art, for the performance(action) and the sculpture(object).
